12+ years old. The law has recently changed in NSW to allow 12 year olds to play paintball! We only require a completed Parental Consent Form for those aged 12-17 to play! If you have a completed parental consent form, you CAN play!

Yes. Our new extremely comfortable BASE GS-F goggles destroy fog and have an integrated visor to keep the water off your goggle lens! We still run games, rain or shine. The only exception is in dangerous weather such as severe winds, lightning or hail. If it’s raining on the day of play, it’s best to bring a change of clothes. We have full shower facilities available. You just need to bring your own towels, soaps etc, but the showers are provided free on the day for our customers

We offer a number of great value packages for social paintball players - something to suit every level of player from beginner to seasoned pro. Check out our great range of packages & pricing here.

We recommend pre paying as soon as possible to secure your booking. Your booking is not secured or guaranteed until all players have paid the deposit. The deposit amount is $50 and if you do not show up on the day without 24 hour notice your deposit will unfortunately be lost.

Pre-paid packages or deposits can be refunded up to 5 days prior to your booking. If a player doesn't show up on the day of play unfortunately your deposit is forfeited.

If you have pre-paid for packages in full, we will give the paintballs for any missing pre-paid players to the attending players to share.

Make a booking with us either online or by calling 0427 248 884 and select your preferred playing date and starting time. Please ensure you and your group are on site at least 15 minutes prior to your start time. Your group will then watch a quick safety video and then will sign in with their Photo ID, or parental consent form. Once processed, collect your gear and have a quick Facebook photo then it’s out to play and get your gun!

Bookings start at 8am and we close at 6pm. Games are booked in 2 hour time slots. As long as you have ammo (you can purchase more at any time) and you can make a whole day of it and  play until 6pm. The earlier you start, the more playing time you will have.

Each individual game runs between 10 and 15 minutes and you will play a number of these throughout the day. Each type of game has its own rules which your referee will explain before you begin. The basic game type will see two teams try to eliminate each other within the time limit. Re-spawn is available usually up until the last five minutes of play – meaning if you get hit, walk back to your start area, then immediately rejoin the game. The last five minutes of the game is ‘elimination’. This means if you get hit, you are out until the start of the next game. Again, your referee will explain all the rules before you begin.

You can either easily book online here or give us a call on 0427 248 884. It's very fast and easy to book online and pick your start time!

Our amazing field is located at Camp Road, Dubbo. Please be aware that for weekday bookings we do not require a minimum number of players but we do require a minimum spend of $300.00. For example, you can have  6 players with a $50 pack each , or 4 players with a $75 pack each.

We highly recommend calling for availability during weekdays! All players must be booked and deposited for weekday booking

We DO NOT supply playing overalls, you can just wear your own clothing! Get creative! We suggest track pants, and a long sleeve cotton t-shirt! Avoid heavy clothing like jumpers and long pants. The idea may appeal to you to reduce the impact of a paintball hit, but in reality, it will just increase the chance of overheating and your paintball mask fogging up. Also please wear running shoes or shoes with ankle support! The paintballs wash out, so you don't need to worry about staining on your clothes!

Absolutely. Glasses will fit comfortably under our rental paintball masks. We use only the latest model extremely comfortable anti fog BASE GS-F rental masks for all of our customers. If you can wear contact lenses, it will be more comfortable.

Only if you don’t follow the safety rules! Paintball is one of the safest activities out there. Industry standards like approved paintball masks, thorough safety briefings for players, and limits on paintball gun velocities help prevent injuries. Also, Dubbo Action Sports has highly trained referees to ensure that everyone follows the rules and stays safe while having maximum fun!

If you keep your goggles on, paintball is super safe. Statistically paintball is safer than bowling!

The paintballs DO NOT stain clothing or shoes as long as you wash your clothes within a reasonable timeframe (a day or two is fine). It is a fully washable water soluble paint that is not designed to stain. Just wash with water after you play and there is nothing to worry about! It is also 100% non-toxic.

Sometimes. It depends on where you are hit, whether it breaks or not (balls that just bounce off  tend to be more painful), and what kind of clothing you are wearing. All paintball markers at Dubbo Action Sports shoot under the legal limit of 300 feet per second and we enforce a 3 meter ‘surrender’ rule. Sometimes, you won’t even feel a hit. But, even when a shot does hurt, it’s usually just a quick sting – the kind of thing you say ‘ow!’ about, and then forget about a few seconds later.

When the adrenaline takes over, you’ll barely notice. In fact most people are upset only because they are actually out of the game rather than from any pain.

At its essence, paintball is a competitive game played for the same reason as any other competitive game – to win. It requires specific gear (goggles, a gun/marker, pressurized gas and paintballs) so you can safely shoot at others and be shot at. Paintball is like a more challenging, high-stakes version of laser tag, hide-and-seek or capture the flag. Beyond that, paintball is hard to describe. It can be played with as few as 2 people or as many as 500. A game can last 5 minutes or 24 hours. The objective might be to take something, bring something, find something or simply be the last person standing. Depending on the field you play, tactics will vary as well. A paintball game will be different every time, but there’s one thing guaranteed when you play at Dubbo Action Sports,  an absolute adrenaline rush.

No experience is necessary to have a fun day with us. Physical size and fitness play little part in a game of paintball as it is the guns that do most of the work for you. Special attention is given to beginner players with beginners’ games, along with top-line rentals, to guarantee that a fun time is had by all. From the beginner to the best pro players in the country, Dubbo Action Sports has you covered.

Combat archery is sometimes known as battle archery or archery tag. This is a sport similar to dodgeball, paintball or nerf war played with bows and arrows tipped with foam.

No! Participants form teams and use a bow to shoot at opponents with large foam tip arrows. Participants must wear protective face masks.

There are many different game types, however a popular one begins with a number of arrows in the center of the arena. At the whistle all players race to collect them, before firing them at one another across the playing field. A player is eliminated if struck by an arrow, and a player can bring an eliminated teammate back into play by catching an arrow.

Unlike paintball the minimum age to play Archery tag is 10 years old, however players also need to be able to draw the bow and shoot the arrow to participate. 2 or more players are required to play this game but you can bring as many people along in your group as you want. The more the merrier.

Any age from 10 years and up. We only require a completed Parental Consent Form for those aged 10-17 to play! If you have a completed parental consent form, you CAN play!
