12+ years old. The law has recently changed in NSW to allow 12 year olds to play paintball! We only require a completed Parental Consent Form for those aged 12-17 to play! If you have a completed parental consent form, you CAN play!
Yes. Our new extremely comfortable BASE GS-F goggles destroy fog and have an integrated visor to keep the water off your goggle lens! We still run games, rain or shine. The only exception is in dangerous weather such as severe winds, lightning or hail. If it’s raining on the day of play, it’s best to bring a change of clothes. We have full shower facilities available. You just need to bring your own towels, soaps etc, but the showers are provided free on the day for our customers
Pre-paid packages or deposits can be refunded up to 5 days prior to your booking. If a player doesn't show up on the day of play unfortunately your deposit is forfeited.
If you have pre-paid for packages in full, we will give the paintballs for any missing pre-paid players to the attending players to share.
We highly recommend calling for availability during weekdays! All players must be booked and deposited for weekday booking
We DO NOT supply playing overalls, you can just wear your own clothing! Get creative! We suggest track pants, and a long sleeve cotton t-shirt! Avoid heavy clothing like jumpers and long pants. The idea may appeal to you to reduce the impact of a paintball hit, but in reality, it will just increase the chance of overheating and your paintball mask fogging up. Also please wear running shoes or shoes with ankle support! The paintballs wash out, so you don't need to worry about staining on your clothes!
Only if you don’t follow the safety rules! Paintball is one of the safest activities out there. Industry standards like approved paintball masks, thorough safety briefings for players, and limits on paintball gun velocities help prevent injuries. Also, Dubbo Action Sports has highly trained referees to ensure that everyone follows the rules and stays safe while having maximum fun!
If you keep your goggles on, paintball is super safe. Statistically paintball is safer than bowling!
Sometimes. It depends on where you are hit, whether it breaks or not (balls that just bounce off tend to be more painful), and what kind of clothing you are wearing. All paintball markers at Dubbo Action Sports shoot under the legal limit of 300 feet per second and we enforce a 3 meter ‘surrender’ rule. Sometimes, you won’t even feel a hit. But, even when a shot does hurt, it’s usually just a quick sting – the kind of thing you say ‘ow!’ about, and then forget about a few seconds later.
When the adrenaline takes over, you’ll barely notice. In fact most people are upset only because they are actually out of the game rather than from any pain.
